Police: Man At Large After Strangling Victim In Somers Domestic Incident

State Police are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a wanted man accused of strangling his victim before fleeing through a window to evade arrest in Northern Westchester.

An alert was reissued on Wednesday, April 11 for Davon Olin, who is wanted by state police and Town of Somers Court for an incident last year at a Somers residence, when he allegedly strangled his victim, provided state police with a false name and fled the scene through a window, according to police.

The following day, police said that Olin’s real name was discovered by a New York Probation Office that determined he had ties to the Bronx, Pennsylvania and the Bronx. He has also been known to go by the name “Day Day.”

Olin is wanted on charges that include second-degree strangulation, obstruction of governmental administration, false impersonation and menacing. He is also wanted by the New York City Probation Department.

Police described Olin as 5-foot-6 with black hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 160 pounds.
